LT Tempo Run
Goal: 3.25mi @whatever tempo pace which I have no clue
Actual: 3.3mi Tempo (8:11 pace) + 1/2mi VO2Max (7:41 pace)
At a certain point my goal was to simply finish out a tempo run (>= 3mi) especially since I have not done one in ~10 weeks. Ran this indoors as there was no way I could run this outdoors in the tropical conditions. I "settled" on 8:13 pace since I ran the first two of the 3 x 2k last week at 8:06 pace. This is embarrassingly slow (I ran a 4mi easy run 6 weeks ago before I badly sprained my left foot at a similar pace outdoors?). After the main tempo I had completely sweated thru my clothes. Took some recovery & then ran a 1/2 mi at VO2Max (7:41 pace) which is also slow.
