Easy Run

Lifted, fast walked & did drills prior. Had my calves and quads needled yesterday - last night my calves/quads were extremely tight and felt like they exploded. Felt ok when I started but it felt like the "edge was off" and did not feel completely "refreshed" or "springy". Ran down Sharon, right on Rutherford, left on Sulkirk and back on Sharon to the mall (first 2 miles), then ran a lap around parking lot and out and looped around on Sharon to Walgrens (mile 3) - was able to run on the road but felt like I slowed down vs. the prior 2 miles (but I didn't). Then ran down Morrison & into the mall parking lots running around mall (past Macy's) - this was mile 4 and felt like mile 3 but slower than the first 2 miles. Climbed over to Piedmont up to Fairview and across the street for a lap around the corporate park (here I felt tired & was sweating as I was feeling the humidity). Ran down towards Panera and then up Fairview to Whole Foods to grab water bottle and ran down to Phillips Place.
