Long Run
Hot disgusting tropical conditions (71 dew pt) & waited until until 10:20pm! The NE wind (10mph) gusting to 25mph made it bearable. Fast walked & did drills prior. Ran this super slow & goal was to maintain cadence throughout. Ran it straight (did not stop & first real long run. Pace was abysmally (embarrassingly) slow & can't believe how this injury sets me back. Right hamstring (HHT) bothered me over the first mile & then again towards the end. Ran a boring rolling route (ran over to mall and then ran concentric circles along Morrison & into mall parking lot) & did this so I could run into the breeze to cool me down as it was ridiculously humid -- the breeze cooled me down by the 20-25 mph gusts really slowed me down at times. I have a very very very long way to go to get back into any semblance of fitness (5 months ago I could not run this slow if I tried).
