Burma Death March

I cannot tolerate this heat & humidity - after two miles I could feel the train roll right off the tracks, felt dead, sweating profusely, at 3 miles my shorts were completely soaked thru. Fast walked & did drills prior. Felt fatigued fr first long run (in about 4 months) yesterday although it was 1 hr 20 min at an extremely slow pace. Started out fr corner of Cameron Valley & Fairview to mall & felt dead as if I only had 2nd gear. Hung left on Sharon, did loop in church (mi 1 - could feel sweat pouring down my face!), ran back on Sharon right on Sulkirk & then down Park So (mi 2). At this point my head, back & face felt "hot". Ran to church, back to Park So & then back again (mi 3 - shorts were soaked), up Old Reid & left on Park So to Fairview (mi 4) & then past Panera & stopped by the Bank of NC at 4.7 mi in (felt no rhythm, uncomfortably hot, bordering on heat exhaustion & exhausted). Walked around for 5 min to vent heat, did drills & then ran up Fairview (felt dead, had zero strength & felt like I was plodding which I was -- cannot believe how embarrassingly slow my pace was -- how can it fall off by so much?)? Ran up to Sharon & then down Coltsgate to run some hill sprints.
