Fast Walk

Notes

Fast walk the first 1.85 miles and then transitioned into combo

fast walk/jog thereafter. I felt marginally better vs yesterday prior but still felt inflammation/swelling (aka slight pain) in certain stretches on the inside of upper right leg. Started into a fast walk and felt that "swelling" feeling in peritoneum on right side but very slight today. Other than that there was really nothing else. So decided to attempt to transition into fast walk/jog running down to Carnegie alongside Piedmont Row. It really hurt but it felt more like "breaking adhesions'" vs. the more severe pain that would stop me from even attempting to jog. I was able to jog out 14-20 steps (albeit very slow) but it hurt on every right step, and the pain was in my right Adductor going down (not up which is where it was before). This felt more like a torn muscle. Settled into 8-10 steps fast walk, 16 - 22 steps jog -- even though things hurt the level of pain subsided slight (fr a 6-7 to start to a 4-5 after about a minute) and was not grimacing (yesterday I was grimacing big time). It felt easier running downhill. I noticed that there was no change in the pain level if I had to hop up the curb or hop down off a curb -- what hurt was solely the more explosive contraction of my leg required when one runs (and I was going very slow and did not even attempt to go faster). Actually felt marginally better towards the end as I bumped up my jog to about 30 - 50 yards (again very slow).
