Easy Run

Ran w/Newtons prior to hill sprints so for this run I focus exclusively on cadence & form. I can see an "immediate" improvement in pace this week vs last week as I'm running at the same perceived effort but 15-25 sec p mi faster this week. Nice cool conditions. Ran fr Allen Tate down Fairview left on Sharon right on Sulkirk right on Park So left on Archdale into Church (mi 1-2 - this felt easy & was focused on form running w/the Newtons), did two loops in Church parking lot right on Archdale left on Park So to Fairview (mi 3 - could feel myself losing rhythm at times trying to run efficiently in the Newtons), left on Fairview ~200m then looped around crossed street up & right on Piedmont Row looped around Panera up Fairview forced to loop around BOA due to construction (mi 5- uphill, legs felt "challenged" running uphill but stronger vs last wk as I did not get "rubbery legged"), ran up Fairview to Allen Tate (final 1/2 mi - did have to stop at 4.2mi as I began to feel tightness then pain in right glute then realized it was really in the high hamstring & "alarms" sounded - stretched some & then resumed w/no issues).
