Easy Run

Fast walked & did drills prior. Much warmer than two prior days. It said it was 37 deg so I dressed for that (wore sleeveless shell) but it was actually much warmer & after 2 mi began to feel uncomfortable. Started at Whole Foods & ran to bottom of Carnegie & Barclay Downs for hill sprints. After the first 1/4 mi my legs felt dead & was going thru the motions in mi 1 & mi 2 (down around mall parking lot, down Sharon, looped into church parking lot & then to Sulkirk), felt better in mi 3 (down Sulkirk & then right o Park South to top of the hill overloooking Fairview) - cadence felt good, felt stronger, felt good on each incline, mi 4 actually felt worse but pace improved & there was a lot of uphill (down Park So & then up to Fairvew eventually looping behind Panera & around Ruth Chris & then up to Assembly. Somehow mile 5 which was mostly downhill & where I felt stronger was the slowest mile?
