Workout day! I was not feeling it midway through this run. But got it done! Started with a nice 6:30 mile and by the time I got up to Tom's Road I had my fastest time there ever, 13:35. I was just running smooth on the downs and flats, but fartlek every hill. The next split to the start of the back two miles was 13:23 and I pushed the long hill pretty good. Then it was the first of the back two miles into a headwind. I started to lose form a bit near the end of the first mile, but held strong in 5:35 with only pushing the uphills. Then I was struggling a bit with stomach issues, but knew it was going ok so kept on those uphills and hit 5:44 for the next mile. Back to the house smooth in 4:37 as my cooldown. The total time I am fairly certain is the fastest I have ever run this course. I will have to double check that though. *(2nd Fastest , 5:55 pace in 2011) I did not leave it all out there either. I was under control and feel good now. Did 1 min core, 4 X Geezer Walk, 30 pushup continuous and then Almond Milk and Carnation followed by Venison Lasagna. Feeling good now. 13:35, 13:23(26:58), 5:35(32:34), 5:44(38:18), 4:37(42:55).
