Notes

EZ run in the late afternoon. Waited around all day for the rain to break the heat. About an hour before the storm was supposed to hit, saw that it was going to be a pretty nasty storm with high winds and hail, so ditched work early to try and beat the rain. Ran over to Columbus Park. Wanted to do a 2-looper, but as I was finishing the first loop, the tornado sirens started going off, so opted to head towards home. Ended up getting caught in the storm and absolutely blasted by it. Was soaked pretty much instantly. The first wave of wind ripped a big branch off a tree right behind me and created a lot of other debris. Slowed down some to try and make sure I didn't run into any other falling branches (or lose my hat). Made it back safe.

Drills before. A bit of rolling after.

this gave me flashbacks to high school summer running when we were told to go run as fast as we could to finish the loop before a tornado rolled in
