Another strong showing for 8am long run. Big group did the whole loop. Took all of Brad's little cut throughs to make it more soft surfaces. I'd prefer to just stick to the roads honestly, but what ever makes the group happiest. Felt pretty tired at the beginning, just hung mid pack for a while. Body finally woke up about an hour in felt a lot better from there. Really good run! Wasn't planning on running this long after some uncertainty with my calf after last weeks long run, but felt good and didn't want to turn back early. The compression socks helped I thought. I'm going to continue wearing them on Sunday's. Back to normal mileage this week.
