Wanted to try on my Vaporflys before the race this weekend to make sure they would feel good, so took them out for a spin on this gorgeous day. Wanted to try a few miles around what I maybe thought HM pace would be. The felt really good, and I was cruising along even faster than I anticipated. Don't think I'm 6:1X pace fit, but feeling a bit better about 6:3X pace for the whole way. Hopefully didn't over cook today and make myself sore for the next 4 days since this is also kind of my first uptempo workout all training cycle. Can't worry about that now though. Excited for this weekend.
