Medium long type run today in order to front load some mileage for the week. I've got 2 finals tomorrow and travel home on Saturday so just trying to ensure I hit mileage for the week.
Started off with an add on around Memorial down to Oak and out around UGL. Saw Nick by the Ike on his skateboard and he gave me a big twisting kick flip which made my frozen heart melt. Ended up racing with him around the Armory a few minutes later as well. Steve came to practice which was a pleasant surprise. Chatted with him for a bit. Pace settled in a bit quicker once everyone warmed up. Found myself at the front mostly with Weem, Frintner, Jack and Quinn. Real good chat. May be planning some sort of senior roast in the future stay tuned. Coming back north on Race St. was frigid. I'm pretty sure I became an icicle. Got back to the Armory and did one more loop around. Sara gave me a Milky Way, which was a godsend.
Glad to be done and inside and warm now. My tights with the giant crotch hole may need to finally be retired :'(
