This is the same pain I had back in June before GLR. Going into the 5K I thought my Achilles was just stiff, and thought NBD. Running in my flats seems to have aggravated a bit more than stiffness.

Tightness/pain above and around ankle. Pain on stairs and doing single leg calf raise. Again, seems to point to PTT (posterior tibial tendinitis). Last time went away after taking a few days off, so that is my plan for now. Will mix in ankle strength, calf rolling/stretching, and some icing.

Curious why this came back after being seemingly gone for the last 2 months. Might just be racing in flats (calves were pretty tight immediately after the race). Might be the new Ravennas. This pair is at approximately the same mileage as my first pair when I had this pain. Might just be that while I've been better with supplemental work, I've been neglecting leg strength completely.
