7 Mile Progression Run

Woof. This did not go as planned. Originally was hoping for similar splits to last week. Made it through the first mile feeling pretty good, I was definitely holding back, itching to go faster. Hit the hill at the start of mile 2 and from there the wheels fell off the wagon. Legs just had no next gear today, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't manage to hold faster than 6' pace for more than a quarter mile or so. Stopped to use the bathroom at 4, hoping a small break would help reset, but it did not. After hitting mile 5, I ran the next minute at 6:20 pace and called it there. Felt pretty exhausted afterwards, so thinking it was the late run last night + not sleeping enough this week + it was pretty warm during this. Hoping for better next week.

Mobility, rolling, and stretching afterwards. Left hip/groin/quad area is tight/sore. Similar to what I was feeling pre-GLR, but not as severe. Keeping an eye on it.
