Had a pretty late night last night (by my standards), so slept in a bit and met Chief to LR at 9. We decided to head out towards Lakewood from LZHS, a route I hadn't done in a few years. Fortunately Chief knew the way because I would have gotten us lost on the way there. This was pretty much one big OnB with a little lollipop loop around the old high school xc course. Way out was pretty easy, and we were moving at a good pace on the roads. Around 9.5, when we exited the trails we noticed it had gotten significantly hotter, and the pace slowed down a bit. Still finished fine, having the company was definitely a welcome addition to running alone!
