Make Up Day

4 of us came in with nothing specific in mind so the coach put together a lifting workout for us.

Hang power snatch 3-3-3

Hang squat clean 3-3-3

Heavy lunges/hip thrust 3 x 10/10

Handstand practice

Snatch and cleans might have been 4 sets of 3. Can't remember. Think I got up to19kg for snatch. Little bit more for the cleans although I was catching high and just squatting.

Lunges were with barbell on back. Not sure of weight.

Hip thrust was barbell with 2 x 25# plates. Then for sets 2 & 3 I added 2 more 10# plates.

I had my own lower weight set up while the 3 other women used heavier weights.

Handstands were wobbly and most weren't good but I did feel stronger in my shoulders with them. The other women were actually walking on their hands and doing the handstands on paralette bars.
