EPIC and EXCELLENT run this morning!!! Beautiful weather and body felt smooth and relaxed again. Trail was in great shape and it looked like it had been improved a little since the snow run last month. So today I decided to keep following the Gales Creek Trail at the junction (sign said it is still closed for trail construction) and I made it almost a mile out to where it abruptly ended at a deep ravine crossing. Up until that point, it was absolutely awesome and I can't wait for it to fully reopen. Turned around and then ran back up Storey Burn and did the normal loop. Hills didn't feel that hard today. Maybe I'm getting stronger. Love running up there when the weather is perfect and the trail is soft and dry.
