Fall Classic. Came in 6th overall, 3rd in the 30-39 age group. PR by 3:21, I was hoping to break 1:30:00, but I'm not too dissapointed with being only 9 seconds off.
Started off the gun a little quick, was in 1st place for 30 seconds, second for another minute, then was passed by the remaining top 4 in about 10 minutes. Held on to 5th until 12k, John Holt caught up and ran with me for another couple of kms, then I fumbled with my Gu for a few seconds and he managed to get about 100m on my, he kept that 100-200m lead until the last 2k and I made up some time, but not enough.
Not a perfect run but not terrible. I had stitches pretty much the whole time, and was afraid I was going to have to walk for a minute or two, but I didn't end up doing that, but the cramping slowed me some in the 2nd half.
