Notes

Dark 50 (more like 56) on the Minto bike trails. Race started at midnight, thought it was a good opportunity from some sleep deprivation training before Harricana in September, goal was just to take it easy and get through it without suffering too much. Felt pretty good the whole time.

35k felt easy, started to hurt in the 7th lap, the last two laps were pretty hard but I came out of it feeling pretty good. Fatigue didn't bother me much at all. Was a bit slower than I expected, but it was 6k longer than advertised and the up/down section of the lap got pretty hard after a while. Rained for the first 2.5 hours and it was really humid, but not cold.
