Ran with the second SHS distance group today. They were doing 400s in 84-85 with 200 jog. I extended the reps to 600 and got about 150 recovery before starting with them again. Felt really good but that’s what I would hope at 5:40 pace. They worked down a little and had some 81-82s in there. I think my 600s were all 2:01-2:05. Not as bad as I expected wearing a mask the whole time.
Less running than I planned for the day but that’s fine, I’ll either make a little up or just drop it for the week. Definitely need to be careful with all the time on feet while subbing this week.
