Notes to follow, ran in an awesome spot in my backyard
Ran at this undeveloped, hidden section of DI... amazing place to run! My old neighbor had mentioned the area to me but the only time I tried to run there, it was a summer morning and I was fighting spiderwebs and tons of bugs the whole time. Mostly forgot about it after that, but thought I'd give it a try. Got a little wigged out by the no trespassing signs and almost abandoned the mission when I heard voices until I realized it was just a family riding their bikes. Apparently I'm not the only one who knows about it as I saw some other bikers there as well. Really amazing scenery, best view of the bridge on the island and runs along the water for a lot of it. Some areas were grassy, some areas looked like dried up deserts, some woodsy, but it all a great hard-packed dirt road to run on. Wanted to stay longer but knew I had ~3mi to home still. Really invigorating run. Hopefully it's not going to be developed one day but I'm sure it will be...
