Notes
Ran with Taylor and Ben. Started off very humid, but we got a very comfortable rain in the middle of the run. Ben is apparently an infinite well of running energy as it was his second 10 miler of the day, and he was still the one pushing the pace. Pace was honest, but the footing was tricky in some parts with a couple hills, but I'm calling it 7:00 pace. Was tired, but not terribly. Felt better by the end.
Found $20 in the parking lot after, it's like I got paid $17 an hour to run. Glad I suggested Lovers Leap instead of the high school! No one was in the parking lot so had to take it.
Doing the 4.3 mile Roxbury Road "Race" tomorrow as the tempo. They're put on every week in Roxbury, varying distances from 2.4 to 8.1, usually bring a crowd of 40, no one serious usually. 6:10 pace would probably win tomorrow, so a good tempo effort should probably take it. Just more fun this way, not going to race it. Taylor's coming to keep me honest haha. It's hilly, though... course always changes but I think just sub 6 will be equivalent to a flat 5:30 tempo. Ha I'll feel it out. Will probably have to add on like 3 min after.
