Sorry, GPS, going to have to overrule you on this one. I was slow, but not that slow. Took it into the twisty, covered trail by my apartment for the first 4.5ish mi as a test, and it performed about as well as I would have expected. I figured it wouldn't tell me anything too meaningful, but at the very least I might be able to use the back and forth to draw out a fairly accurate map for future reference (verdict: not super helpful but looks like I was being shorted 0.05 each way?). Got out on the roads and was between 7:15 and 7:30, right where I figured I'd be. I'm calling it 7:30, should be safe since I figure the satellites were most accessible on mile 7. But maybe I'm FOS and the GPS nailed it and I'm just really slow over the trail. I'LL NEVER KNOW.

But yeah no matter what, wanted it slow today. All day my right knee has been feeling like it was either slightly twisted or like I'm slightly pinching something, plus left ankle felt mini-sprained, and balls of feet aching from Tuesday's WO in flats. All pretty minor and explainable stuff and it didn't bother me while running really, but I wanted it easy fo sho as some preventative maintenance.
