I ran with varsity today because the other guys weren't going as far because their race is on Thursday. We went on the bike trail to the second bridge, which is about 4 miles out and back on the actual trail. On the way back we picked up our "second place trophy," which was a rock that Milford made with our colors on one side and Milford's on the other. Coach says we have to carry it all year during practice and to meets, which will be good motivation to win FAVC next year. Today was pretty fast and somewhat long compared to our last few weeks' practices (with JV). I hope this won't slow me down on Saturday.
