Surprisingly warm and wet - there had evidently been a shower shortly before this run. Left ankle felt surprisingly good, but first knuckle on my right foot had been bothering me a bit since yesterday's run, and I was feeling it this morning. Not bad, just aware. I had been taking an aspirin post-run, but it just occurred to me that aspirin is not the thing to take if there's bruising. So, no aspirin today.
This was a morning for startling people. Two women in different places walking their dogs were completely unaware of me until I greeted them. They were kind of apologetic for being startled.
Speed not great, and quite slow on the 52nd Street part, but good enough.
