I had every intention of keeping this slow, and apparently succeeded. Wore Brooks #2 this time, and, yes, this unequivocally proves that they are harder on my left knee than Brooks #3. It's not hurting a lot, but it's definitely tender. I think it slowed me down a bit as well. Weird. Wore my knee band, too.
The loop around the lake was a last minute decision that made me happy.
No stops for breathers, except those dictated by traffic.
