Notes
Timed only by Garmin, so not logging this as a race. I think they said 200+ runners, so a good turnout. By the second mile, I was passing many slow runners and walkers, even though I was very slow myself. Wiggly course, as the map will show. In the sun for a good portion of it. The heat/humidity was brutal, much worse than this morning on the MoPac. I was concerned about the tendonitis, especially this being an XC course. Hoping the active recovery/healing theory is valid. E & P & DW cheered for me; then we cheered for E in the Toddler Trot. She thought the course was much too short, so she ran it multiple times, extended on both ends. Then we had food truck dinner and explored. Had a fun time.
