Felt fairly awkward, due to long run yesterday. One of the hotter, more humid runs this season. Holmes Lake was well over its banks, and well over several parts of the trail. Needless to say, the tunnel under 70th was flooded. That caused some delay crossing the street, and several detours. I'm figuring any changes in mileage are a wash, so to speak. Coming back I was thinking about the Lincoln Mile, so I did the distance along east Van Dorn at a hard sprint. A lot of work in the heat, and after six miles. Still, I ought to be able to do a mile at that pace, whatever it was, with the proper preparation. Worked up a good sweat.
