Part Two of long run, after two minute pit stop at home. Surprising pace after the slower first part. I felt pretty good, though starting to tire toward the end. At the end, I felt like another eight miles would be possible, if not terribly pleasant, so this was a confidence builder. I'm thinking I should go with the 3:45 pacer instead of the 3:50.
I ingested nothing during the run, nor even during the pit stop. I think I don't need to obsess about it during the marathon. Some Gatorade, maybe a gel or two should suffice.
