Seemed chillier than yesterday's 14, and indeed the official weather shows a precipitous drop between 4 and 5 am. Maybe it took an hour to reach our house.
Ice was a greater hazard than yesterday - slicker, rougher, and harder than the snow was yesterday. All parts of the trail were cleared, though.
I felt strong and fast. Could have logged a fast run if it hadn't been for the ice and a couple of extended stops for traffic.
