Running on five hours sleep because of late-night cake baking. Got to the Y at 7:15, because they said packet pickup closes at 7:30. In reality, they closed at 8:00. Anyway, we got packets, DD won a door prize based on her bib number, a nice Brooks satchel, and we waited around. I could have been warmer, with that sharp north wind, but once the race started, I was fine. The course was actually pretty nice, a sort of out and back, but with loops and curves. I felt strong, ran strong, especially in the second half. Passed a lot of less-trained runners, but a couple of young whippersnappers refused to let me stay past them. Finished strong, DD finished strong not too long after me. Michael G cheered for me at the finish. Saw Dave D in the foyer. Got AG medal, then DD took photos of me w/ giant turkey and giant Y.
