My sleeping has not been great since DST. I tend to wake up early, closer to 7 hours of sleep than my typical 8. But I also haven't been noticeably more tired during the day. Today I woke up even earlier at 5. I stayed in bed for an hour but soon concocted a plan. I was going to go into the office anyway for a team breakfast, so it was good to beat the morning traffic. But I arrived so early that I just ran at the office (plus, that gave me an appetite).

No wind and a slower pace made this run go much more smoothly than last night. In my mind, I thought I might have time for 10 plus strides, but I had started later than I thought and there were more busy street crossings than I usually have to deal with. So when I looked at my watch after 8 miles and saw it was almost 8 already, I made sure to head straight back. I did want to get some strides in still, so I just threw in a few (some on hills) in the last mile (which also brought me back faster).
