I was sure I would run yesterday even after a terrible night of sleep, but I stopped myself. I wouldn't say I felt much better today but my impatience got the best of me. This has been a weird sickness. I was starting to feel better Thursday and that usually means I'm good by the next day. This time, I just keep coughing and my nose keeps leaking. Some general fatigue and shortness of breath is what really kept me from running more though. Today's run went fine and should be able to do a more normal run tomorrow. Hopefully this is just an odd illness and not the new normal where illnesses take 3x longer than they used to. Times like this make me wonder if I'm just a different person than before the surgery.
Anyway, I did the nearby trails, enjoyed them. Again telling myself to do them more often.
POST EDIT: Maybe not, Naomi found a tick in the bathroom after I had showered. Today's trails were the same as where I got the tick bomb this summer. Might just be a place to avoid.
