First bike ride of the year. Naomi and I biked east on the Heart of Iowa trail for the 1st time. We never did before because the wind is usually out of the west. And today was no different. Indeed it was quite windy out of the NW. But we weren't going very far.
Biking felt very easy and fun to start (duh, the wind is at our backs). We explored further than I've ran this direction but didn't make it to another town yet. The return trip was slow and 1mile was super exposed and a drag. Still, a fun & chill ride. Now for my butt to hurt for a week...
