My lower legs were beat up and stiffening throughout the night, but that's as bad as it felt in the morning. Nothing seemed torn at least.
I enjoyed a similar run to yesterday. Bruce seemed a bit more inconsistent today. Or maybe it was just going through Gateway Prairie, he went crazy in there and I needed to stop him twice as he was heaving heavily. 3 miles barefoot. I would say it's nice having the dog while going barefoot as I'm focused more on him than my barefoot form.
My original plan was to double all 3 days in Decorah. Now I'm thinking that would be dumb.
