Drew's first run in Fairfax and we did the basic route to the South side and back. Cloudy but never rained while we ran.
I had some left ankle pain when I woke up this morning. I was worried it was my achilles but it seems more achilles-adjacent. But it went away and no pain since. Still, I wanted to keep this slower. The first mile was a successful 7:37, but then the 2nd mile was 6:51... Granted with a solid downhill. I managed to keep us just over 7min pace for the rest, and feeling like I was chopping my steps.
