Notes

I was looking for a simple workout and chose a double ladder fartlek (1,2,3,2,1,2,3,2,1 minutes with equal recovery). I also decided Drew and I should exercise our demons and work on our weaknesses, which meant grass running (Noelridge this time instead of Morgan Creek).

Our course wasn't marked by any lines, maybe Noelridge isn't hosting man meets this year. Or none at all as they have certainly paved over many parts that were on the course. The grass quickly sapped me for the first 2 reps. The first 3 min rep was my first feeling good, maybe since it was just slower, maybe due to me taking us on a section with likely the hardest ground.

My low point was the 3rd 2 min rep that Drew lead us up an incline. Made it through the workout but we could barely muster a 1.5 mile cool down to get to 9 miles. Something about grass just causes the legs to be shot.
