Stopped by Dubuque to visit Papa Retro. We postponed the run due to rain (we had a baby ok!). We got out around 4 and managed well to get between some rainstorms. Retro pushed Tyson and I ran with Bruce. Pretty sure this is the 1st time I've done a prolonged run with a dog. Bruce was very good; inconsistent pacing, but he only tried to stop and smell things once or twice. I was also wearing a waist leash, which I was worried about at first when Bruce was pulling me. But 90% of the time he ran next to me and the leash felt great.
So another easy run. I'm happy with getting a very good recovery this weekend, though it did ruin any chance of getting 50 miles for the week.
