Wasn't set on a long run before the run (which is usually a good idea mentally), and thought getting 11-13 would be a good start to the week. Body was not even near 100%; foot problems, ankle pain, glute soreness from hills, and a sideache - all on the right side of my body. But, I kept the pace under control and started to feel better. Turned around around 6.5 miles so I was at least set for 13. The way back was mostly good with some slumps and thought about adding on for 15+ but was still concerned about my health and wanted to make sure I was ready for the rest of the week. Did a few strides in the last mile which was enjoyable, will try to do more strides now on.
