My plan was a mild track workout today, but I was getting deja vu feelings from 2 weeks ago (failed time trial). It was also a Friday and I was also having light diarrhea along with an unsettled core. I still decided to drive to the track. I should have stopped on the drive for another bathroom, but I lucked into a porta-potty just a few minute into my warm-up. After that I felt normal other than a tight core, but managed.

400's today, shooting for 8 reps with a generous 2min rec. The first 2 were in my normal shoes and then I switched to flats. I figured 85s would be good maybe but started too fast even in my normal shoes. That must not have been too much though as I would do all 8 around 80sec each. I felt like I had it in me to do 2 more fairly easily, but I made the conservative call and stopped at 8 reps. It was, after all, my first track workout in close to 2 years I think.
