Met Helix and Drew for our first 70 degree day. It was a good couple of miles but not for Helix as he had us turn around at 2.5. Drew was thinking 10 for the day and I told him I felt good and thought that could be nice. Soon I started feeling like crap though. My stomach was upset and at 4 miles I opted to diverge from the others and go to a bathroom in a Co-op. That was a good idea but didn't help much. I ran another 1/2 mile and stopped again at a gas station.
I made it back to the parking lot and must have missed Drew at some point. I considered heading back out to find him but I didn't trust myself to not need another pit stop. Plus, my lower back was quite tight and painful. That happens sometimes with an upset stomach but it made me wonder if that was the real issue as I was a bit brutal on my back yesterday with the track 400's, dead lifts, pull-ups, and short bike ride.
