Happy to get an hour of running in with all the good climbing, though it didn't go as planned. Emma and I started on Turtle Rock with a planned exit. Then only 30sec onto the new path, we were stopped short by a huge (by Emma's knowledge) bull moose just off the trail. It stood up and being 15ft away with a pond blocking a long way around, we opted to turn around... quickly.
Some adrenaline got us up the hill and back to the same loop as yesterday. We then took a different trail that took us to the road (which was possibly in our original plan). The road took us a few miles and all uphill, unfortunately.
