Early to bed, early to rise meant getting back to Ankeny before dinner. So I took the opportunity to get a bonus run in. Though it was not an Iowa nice welcome back as it was almost 90 and still humid. My solace came from knowing my next race will likely be humid and also the forecast of nothing over 70 for the next 10 days. I swept in and out of the shade and felt happy enough with 6 miles and 6 strides.
