Notes
The predicted day off happened (self-fulfilling prophecy anyone?). Though it didn't rain or snow as much as forecasted.
We got out today still with the idea of a long run, but the first couple miles really quelled those thoughts as we either ran on snowy streets or icy sidewalks/bike paths.
Luckily, we then found some well plowed/salted streets that weren't very busy. We doubled back twice to run almost 8 miles on the good stuff. We also got well up to speed during the stretch (not expected at all) and basically went ~6:30 for all the middle miles.
Drew kept to a conservative 12 and I added on 2 after that. A better run than expected, and hopefully the ~6miles of quasi-slippery running won't be felt tomorrow (though there will probably be much more of it as the winter goes on).
