Notes
A lot has happened in the last 24hours, Naomi and I drove 8+ hours to SD and back to get the 7week + 1day pup Nessa. A few extra stops on the way back and Nessa still peed on me once. I think we all bonded very quickly and she seemed quick to learn when kibble was involved. Maybe we got too close though as the separation at night was too much for her. Very little sleep for us humans. I believe I am responding well to the lack of sleep, but the stress/anxiety is draining.
And yet, this was a great run. I'm sure it didn't hurt that I got over 24hours "recovery" between runs for the first time in 5 runs. Or maybe I just needed to get away and do something normal and for myself. I did need an unplanned bathroom break but thankfully I was already running back towards the apartment. 6 pretty nice hill sprints.
