I knew strava would help me out: A Kyle Wagner reached out to me last night asking if I'd run in Huxley the next morning. We'd seen each other on strava and turns out he not only lives in Huxley, he lives right above me (maybe not ideal, but I also haven't been bothered by any noises).
So he's a Loras guy and we quickly found common friends. I don't think he was quite a varsity type guy but he seems good enough to run with and likely to do workouts with. Though he coaches Ames High which means he might be running with them most weekdays. Still, I can probably count on 2 hands how many times I've ran with people since March and hopefully that changes.
We did 8miles on gravel, which is a good loop but already getting repetitive so someone else certainly helps.
Oh yes, I have now hit 10,000miles on my GPS which I got 4 years and maybe 4 months ago.
