Notes

First running workout in a while. This was also the first hill workout I've done in the dark (the leaves were in abundance as well), so footing was a constant and annoying issue. The plan was 8xuphills, and though I was feeling strong, I could tell pretty quickly I wasn't going to be able to hold Scott's pace for all 8. Ended up doing 6 with Scott and falling off on the 7th and jogged it in. My stomach felt pretty horrible afterwards and I even felt like throwing-up, something I don't really do (when running...). I don't think I've thrown up after a workout since high school. So I headed towards a bathroom, relieved myself, and the urge to vomit gradually went away. Not sure if I've been eating poorly or if I just wasn't used to the intense effort.

Anyway, splits were: 1:30, 1:27, 1:24, 1:25, 1:25, 1:25, 1:36 (jogged this one). I wasn't too thrilled with my performance, thinking I'm in worse shape than this summer, but looking back at my log, maybe I'm not too far off, especially with the difficulty in footing.
