Notes

I "slept in" until 7 and could tell right away that I was tired. My resting heart rate was through the roof. So I ate breakfast and planned on a pre-lunch run, thankful that today was overcast and staying in the 70's all day.

It was still humid though as I just felt clammy most of the run. It wasn't a bad run where I felt rundown the whole time. Mostly, I could just tell my legs weren't popping and any time I thought I was starting to cruise, I realized that I was still well over 7min pace.

After lunch, I actually laid down and might have even napped for 15min, a rarity to be sure. After that, I got curious and weighed myself and saw 149 for the first time in.. who knows? It's easy to pinpoint the problem. I don't like to eat much before runs and the heat tends to diminish appetites. So when I double it means I need to get a very high percentage of my calories at dinner. And that did not happen last night as I had plans that disrupted eating dinner and then didn't have a snack later on.

So we'll see how I recover for tomorrow but it may become a rest day.
