Got back on the horse with a solid run with Kyle. Still stupid hot but we mostly had shade, and maybe more importantly, company (to of course share in the misery). I never felt good, but also never was desperate to finish. I'd say that's pretty good for a fast pace in hot temps.
Not sure what to say about my achilles. After a few weeks of steady improvement, I feel like I've stagnated now. It's more annoying now than painful, but it does change my stride sometimes. My plan right now is to race and re-evaluate.
