Notes
No alarm but I woke up slightly earlier for an early morning run. My stomach already felt odd though, like a side-ache was imminent. It was great out though, cool and overcast (obviously humid but that just means sweat).
Other than a good amount (though not unusual amount) of trips to the bathroom, I got going on my tempo. I started on a downhill to help my acceleration, and I needed it to get hit 5:45 for the 1st mile. The bad news is that would be my fastest split. The next was close and then the last 3 miles were 5:52's. The good news is that my stomach held up, and my legs didn't tight or anything.
Nothing impressive, but slow hay is still hay in the barn right?
